 Start Ten Day imperial cities and desert tour and Explore Morocco’s Imperial Cities and the captivating desert on an adventure that will never be forgotten. Before arriving in the magnificent Sahara Desert, this 10-day itinerary will take you through the rich historical and cultural sites of Rabat, Fes, and Marrakech. This amazing adventure shouldn’t be missed.

Day 1: Arrive Casablanca

10 Day Imperial Cities and Desert start upon your arrival at Casablanca Airport, our driver will pick you up and take you to your hotel. Following, you may wish to see some of the sights of the city, the best being the Hassan II Mosque. Night at a hotel.

Day 2: Casablanca-Rabat:

After breakfast, start the trip towards the capital of Morocco, Rabat is the first Imperial city you will be visiting. We can organize a Guided Tour with an official guide; you will visit the Oudayas Kasbah, Hassan Tower & Mohammed V Mausoleum, along with the Chellah Gardens & Necropolis. You will be spending the night at a Riad.

Day 3: Rabat-Meknes-Volubilis-Fez:

Today, you’ll travel to Meknes, one of Morocco’s Imperial City. You will visit the square and see one of Morocco’s most impressive gateways, Bab Mansour. You’ll then head through Volubilis . the Roman Ruins and then to Fez for the night. Night at a Riad.

Day 4: Fez Guided Tour:

In Fez, you will have a Guided tour with an official guide and you will be able to explore the UNESCO protected Fez Medina, Fez is made up of 9,000 roads and alleyways and it’s best to explore it with an expert. Fez Medina is the oldest and most beautiful in Morocco, almost unchanged since the Middle Ages and declared World Heritage of Humanity in 1981. The doors lead us to a tangle of narrow streets and alleyways around the mosque Kairouine. Its university is the oldest in the world. Visit the neighborhood of the tanners and discover a terrace overlooking the tannery. Night at a Riad.

Day 5: Fez-Ifrane-Midelt-Erg Chebbi:

Our driver will pick you up around 9am towards the Erg Chebbi Dunes. On the way you will pass Ifrane before continuing onward through Midelt and the Ziz Valley and onto the desert for the night for a Sahara adventure. Arrive to your destination late afternoon. Dinner and night at the Auberge.

Day 6: Erg Chebbi-Sahara Desert:

Today, you’ll have the day to explore the Erg Chebbi Sahara Desert. You’ll be able to visit a local musical village Khamlia, share a tea with a nomadic family. Following, prepare for Camel Trekking into the desert. You will stop to admire sunset. Dinner under the stars followed by a night in a Berber-style tent. We have our own private camp area. If you prefer not to camp out, you go Camel Trekking for one hour to view the sunset and spend the night at the Auberge.

Day 7: Erg Chebbi-Dades Valley-Ouarzazate:

This morning, you’ll be able to admire sunset and take some outstanding photos before Camel Trekking back to the Auberge. You’ll then head to Ouarzazate. On the way you will detour to visit Todra Gorge. You will then head towards Ouarzazate and visit Taorirt Kasbah once owned by the Glaouis family Dinner and night at a Riad.

Day 8: Ouarzazate-Ait Ben Haddou-Marrakesh:

After leaving Ouarzazate you will be stopping at the UNESCO world heritage site at Ait Ben Haddou. Then, you’ll cross Tiz n Tichka pass, over the High Atlas Mountains and to Marrakesh. Night at a Riad.

Day 9: Marrakesh Guided Tour:

Today will have an optional private Guided Tour of Marrakesh Medina with an official guide from Marrakesh. You will see the famous Mosque of Koutubia, the Medina and its souks, and explore some more of Marrakesh’s secrets: Ali Ben Youssef Koranic school, the Saadian the Bahia Palace and Majorelle Gardens. Night at a Riad in the Medina.

Day 10: Departure from Marrakesh:

End of 10 Day Imperial Cities and Desert and Transfer to the airport on time of your flight.We hope you had a wonderful journey.
