Itinerary of 2 Days Tour from Marrakech to Zagora Desert

Day 1 : Marrakech – High Atlas – Zagora Desert

We will depart from Marrakesh in the morning, then we’ll drive to Ouarzazate through the TIzi N’Tichka path which reaches an altitude of (2260m), the High Atlas Mountains besetment which is surrounded by amazing landscape and Berber villages. Then you will visit Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, the largest Kasbah in Morocco.

Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987 and been the backdrop for over twenty films such as Alexander 2004, Kingdom of Heaven 2005 and the message 1976. Afterwards we will have lunch in the Kasbah (which is optional), and then continue on the road to Zagora. On arrival to Zagora you will be welcomed with a glass of tea before your camel ride with an experienced camel man and there you will discover the magic of desert, sleeping in a traditional Berber tent and enjoy the moon and stars overnight.

Day 2 : Zagora Desert – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

After breakfast, you will leave the camp and travel by camel trek to Marrakesh via Ouarzazate and Tizi N’Tichka path. Arriving at Marrakesh by evening you will reach your riad/hotel.
