Season and Pick-up Time

Hot air balloon flights in Marrakech. Are available all year round, provided that weather conditions are suitable. The best time to experience the flight is during the morning hours, particularly around sunrise. This allows you to capture stunning photos of the picturesque palm groves, valleys, Berber villages, and other balloons floating in the sky. The pick-up time varies depending on the season:

Summer (April through October):

Pick-up between 4:00 and 5:00 am, depending on the location of your hotel or riad.

Winter (November through March):

Pick-up between 5:00 and 6:00 am, depending on your place of residence or hotel area.

You will receive an estimated pick-up time at the time of booking. Our team will either send you an email or call you to confirm the pick-up time one day before your scheduled hot air balloon flight, typically between 5:00 and 7:00 pm.

Pick-up and Pre-flight

On the day of your flight, our team will pick you up from your hotel or riad in Marrakech and drive you to the launch location. This early-morning ride will allow you to experience the city’s peaceful streets before the hustle and bustle of the day begins. Upon arrival at the launch site, you will witness the preparations for the hot air balloons on the ground. This presents a fantastic opportunity for you to watch the balloons being inflated and take memorable photographs. The preparations generally take around 15 minutes.

During this time, a passenger briefing will be conducted to ensure your safety and provide you with essential information about the flight. Afterward, you will be served a warm welcome tea or coffee, allowing you to relax and prepare for the incredible adventure ahead.

Take-off and Flight

As the sun begins to rise, the hot air balloon will gracefully take off, marking the start of your unforgettable journey over Marrakech. The balloon will ascend to an altitude of approximately 1,000 meters, offering you breathtaking views of the sunrise and the mesmerizing landscapes of the Marrakech palm grove and surrounding areas. The picturesque Berber villages, lush greenery, and stunning natural beauty will unfold beneath you, creating a truly magical experience.

Throughout the flight, you will have ample opportunities to capture stunning photos or videos of the scenery. On Landing

Upon landing, you will be greeted with a warm welcome and served a delicious traditional Moroccan breakfast buffet. The breakfast will be set up under Caidale tents, creating a delightful and authentic atmosphere. Indulge in the flavors of Moroccan cuisine, savoring various delicacies that will satisfy your taste buds and provide a well-deserved energy boost after your flight.

Flight certificate

To commemorate your hot air ballooning experience in Marrakech. Our team will present you with an official flight certificate. This certificate serves as a special memento, reminding you of the incredible adventure you embarked on.

In the late morning, our comfortable minibus or 4×4 vehicle will transport you back to your hotel or riad in Marrakech, marking the end of your hot air balloon journey. As you return, take the time to reflect on the unique perspective you gained of Marrakech from above and the unforgettable memories you created during this remarkable experience.
